In the evening,  stretch your legs with a stroll around the 5 acre grounds,  exploring our quirky bike forest, or a nice evening walk up and down our 2.6 mile unpaved road with fabulous 360 mountain views and of Kenai Lake. Our Russian Gap Retreat is minutes away from glorious fishing, rafting the turquoise waters of the Kenai, the best trails for hiking and biking found on Peninsula, and all the wonderful amenities available in Cooper Landing.

Pet Policies
Russian Gap Retreat is a dog friendly vacation rental. To ensure the comfort of all our guests and to keep our rental pet friendly and clean, pet owners agree to the following policies:

  • Dogs based upon our approval. We liked to know what type of dog you have and its behavioral characteristics. 
  • Dogs must be accompanied by their owners at all times.
  • Dogs are not to be left unattended. 
  • We ask guests to rinse off and wipe/rub down dogs with dog towels provided after being out in rain or mud before entering cabin.
  • Dogs are not permitted on the furniture or linens.
  •  Please advise of any “accidents” so they may be addressed promptly.
  • Guests are to use the bags provided to dispose of any “deposits” made by pets on cabin grounds. All "deposits" must be secured in trash bags before placing in the outside pet trash container.
  • Pet owners will be responsible for the repair/replacement of items stained or damaged by their pet. If additional cleaning is required after your departure, the cleaning service fee and/or repair costs will be the guests’ responsibility.
